We're a group of researchers, activists, artists and/or self-proclaimed 'rejects', united by the wish to see a change in academic cultures, systems and practices.We want to see more equitable, meaningful, joyful and sustainable academic-community collaborations...sometimes the structures around us pose obstacles to that though.Change will probably be slow. In the meantime, we've made an online space for pause, creative play and solidarity: the Reject Lounge.If you would like to be part of it, we meet every three weeks on Thursday lunchtimes for an hour of pressure-free drawing/mark-making, mutual support and (sometimes) strategising.
